Two jobs that are really one. Deleting a page and moving a page are the same operation seen from different sides: both are answers to the question of what the finished document should contain, and in what order.

That is how this tool works. The list below your file is the running order. Move a page and the order changes; remove one and it is simply not in the list any more. What you see is what the saved document will be.

How to delete and reorder PDF pages

  1. Add your PDF

    Drop it on the box above, or click to pick it. Every page appears as a row, numbered as it is in the original.

  2. Rearrange or remove

    The arrows move a page up or down. The × takes it out. A counter offers to restore anything you removed, so nothing is final until you save.

  3. Save the result

    Press Save PDF. A new document comes back containing exactly the pages in the list, in the order shown.

Why the order is rebuilt, not edited

Deleting pages one at a time is where this operation usually goes wrong. Remove page two and the old page three becomes the new page two; remove what you think is page five and you have taken the wrong one.

Nothing here works that way. The list is a plan, not a series of edits, and the document is built once from that plan when you save. The numbers on the rows stay the original page numbers throughout, so they never shift under you.

It also means removing is not destructive while you work. The original file on your device is untouched, and the restore button puts back anything you took out.

There are no page previews

Each page is a numbered row rather than a thumbnail. Drawing a thumbnail means rendering the PDF, and the library this site uses to move pages cannot render — adding one that could would mean a large download on a page whose whole appeal is that it loads fast and sends nothing anywhere.

For reordering a document you already know, the numbers are enough: you know the cover is page one and the appendix starts at twelve.

If you need to see the pages, open the file alongside in any PDF reader and work from its page numbers. They match the numbers here exactly.

What is kept

Pages are copied whole, so text stays selectable, vector artwork stays sharp, and a scan keeps the resolution it had. Nothing is re-rendered or re-compressed on the way through.

Each page keeps its own size and rotation, so a document that mixes portrait text with landscape tables survives reordering intact.

Bookmarks and form fields are not carried across, and a password-protected PDF cannot be opened here at all.

Frequently asked questions

Is my PDF uploaded?
No. Everything runs in your browser, on your own device. The file never reaches a server, so there is nothing to delete afterwards.
Is the original file changed?
Never. The file on your device is left exactly as it was; saving produces a new document and leaves the original alone.
Can I get a removed page back?
Yes. A restore button appears as soon as you remove anything, and puts every removed page back in its original position. Nothing is final until you save.
Why are there no page thumbnails?
Showing a thumbnail means rendering the PDF, which needs a large rendering library this site deliberately does not load. The rows are numbered to match the original, so a reader open alongside lines up exactly.
Do the page numbers change as I remove pages?
No. Each row keeps its original page number throughout, which is what stops you removing the wrong page after an earlier deletion.
Can I delete every page?
No — a PDF needs at least one page, so the last remaining page cannot be removed.
Will quality drop?
No. Pages are copied, not re-rendered, so text stays text and a scan keeps its exact resolution.
Can I add pages from another PDF?
