Privacy policy

The short version: your files are never uploaded, and quickimagefix.com sets no cookies of its own. The detail follows.

Last updated: September 19, 2026

Your files never leave your device

Every tool on this site runs inside your browser. When you compress, convert, resize or crop an image, your browser reads the file and processes it with the Canvas API on your own machine. Background removal runs an image-segmentation model on your device. PDFs are assembled in the browser too.

There is no upload step, no server that receives your files, and no copy kept anywhere. Nothing is queued, nothing is scanned and nothing is retained — because nothing is ever sent. It is also why there is no file size limit: the only constraint is your own device's memory.

What is stored on your device

One thing, and you control it:

  • The background-removal model. The first time you use that tool, its files are saved in your browser's Cache Storage so you do not download them again on every visit. Clearing your browser's site data removes them.
  • Nothing else. This site sets no cookies of its own and writes nothing to local storage.

Analytics

The site uses Vercel Web Analytics to count page views. It is cookieless: it stores no identifier on your device, does not follow you between sites and does not build a profile of you. It records aggregate figures only — which pages were viewed, the broad region they were viewed from, and the kind of device used.

The files you process are never part of this. Analytics sees page addresses, never file names and never file contents.

Advertising

Advertising is not currently enabled on this site. When it is, ads will be served by Google AdSense, and this section describes what that will mean.

Google and its partners use cookies to serve ads and may personalise them based on your previous visits to this and other sites. You can turn off personalised advertising in Google's Ads Settings, and manage third-party advertising cookies at optout.aboutads.info or, in Europe, Your Online Choices.

Your rights

Under the GDPR and similar laws you may ask what personal data is held about you, ask for it to be corrected or erased, and object to its processing. Because this site holds no accounts and receives no files, there is in practice very little to hold — the analytics described above are aggregate and not linked to you.

The data controller is Abdul Basit. To make a request, or to ask anything about this policy, write to quickimagefix@gmail.com.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes in a way that affects you — a new processor, a new category of data — the date below changes with it. It is worth re-reading if you rely on the guarantees above.
