JPEG, PNG and WebP retain their format, while HEIC is exported as JPEG and AVIF as PNG. If the destination needs another format, use Image to JPG or the corresponding converter. A correct filename extension alone does not mean that a file has been converted. This page resizes a still image, not a video or an animated sequence.

Review the downloaded copy at its intended display size as well as at full resolution. Enlarging a small source creates more pixels but cannot restore missing detail.
