1. Open a photo
Choose an image, drag files onto the page, or paste a screenshot. Add several images to switch between them in the tray.
2. Make your edits
Crop the frame, resize in pixels, tune the light and color, or add text and brush annotations. Each image keeps its own settings.
3. Check the result
Compare with the original and zoom in to inspect details. Undo a step or return to the original without opening the file again.
4. Export your image
Download JPG, PNG or WebP at your chosen dimensions. For several photos, download a ZIP with each image’s individual edits.
Crop, resize and adjust photos together
Straighten the composition with quarter-turn rotation, flip a photo, or crop to a square, portrait or landscape ratio. Set exact output dimensions for a social post, presentation or product listing. Brightness, contrast, saturation and selective tonal adjustments help balance the image before you export.
Add text, draw and blur details
Add a caption or label with editable text layers, then place it precisely on the photo. Draw notes on a screenshot or mark a detail in a construction-site photo. Brush blur and pixelation can obscure distracting or personal details; review the finished file before sharing sensitive information.
Remove a background and choose a new color
Run QuickImageFix’s local background-removal model without leaving the editor. Keep a transparent cutout or place it on a solid background for a product photo. Manual erase and restore controls refine your own erasures. AI results vary with the subject and lighting, so inspect hair, glass and fine edges at full size.
Save the right format for your image
PNG keeps transparent backgrounds and sharp graphics. JPG is useful for photos, with a quality setting that trades file size for detail. WebP supports transparency and often produces smaller files. To change PNG to JPG without other edits, use the dedicated converter. For a specific upload limit, compress the finished image separately.
A browser photo editor with local processing
Your photo and editing text stay in browser memory. Rendering and export happen on your device; the background-removal model downloads only when you request it. Closing or refreshing the page clears this editing session. New image exports do not retain the original EXIF or GPS metadata. Large files depend on device memory: this editor supports up to 40 megapixels and 16,384 pixels per side.
Photo editor questions
Is this online photo editor free without a watermark?
Yes. Crop, resize, adjust, annotate and download your edited image without creating an account or adding a QuickImageFix watermark.
Can I edit a HEIC photo from an iPhone?
Yes. HEIC is decoded locally using the same decoder as our converter. Export the edited photo as JPG, PNG or WebP. For multi-image HEIC files, only the primary image is opened.
Does editing reduce image quality?
The original image is kept separately while you edit. Exports use the requested pixel dimensions, not the smaller preview. JPG and lossy WebP re-encode pixels and can lose detail; PNG uses lossless encoding, though your edits still change the image.
Can I edit several photos at once?
Add up to 12 images to the tray and switch between them without losing edits. Settings apply to the active image only. Download the current image or export every image with its own edits in a ZIP file.
How do I keep a transparent background?
Choose Transparent in Background and export PNG or WebP. JPG cannot store transparency, so the editor fills transparent pixels with white for JPG downloads.
Does it work on a phone or tablet?
The touch layout puts the image above the tool strip and options. Export stays available in the editor’s bottom action bar. Supported formats and maximum image sizes depend on the browser and device.
Can I recover an editing session after closing the page?
No. Images and edits are held in memory for this session, not saved to an account. Download your results before closing or refreshing the page.
Can I edit animated GIFs or Photoshop layers?
This editor handles still images and exports a flattened file. It does not edit animation timelines or PSD projects. Use the separate GIF background remover when you need to retain GIF animation.
